Reading and Bloop workshop

  • 905 1 Avenue Northeast Calgary, AB, T2E 2L3 Canada (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Could you win a pretending award? Many of us spend our days wearing our masks of “okay-ness.” I’m okay, you’re okay, we’re all okay. But sometimes, we’re not, and it’s hard to pretend all the time.

In this workshop, Carla provides an overview of emotions and a reading of her story, “The Sad Book.” The purpose of this segment is to validate the experience of sadness in participants and inspire them to express their emotions through constructive means, such as artistic expression. Following this, Laura will guide the children in a Bloop-making activity, giving them the opportunity to express their emotions and foster creativity.

This workshop is for all ages, but requires a parent to join for kiddos younger than 12.

Please only purchase one ticket per family ($5 per family). If finances are of concern please reach out to us imagine@cherrytreelane.ca - we have sponsored tickets available!
