Kids Workshop: Build Your Own Catapult with Flying Minds

  • 10325 Bonaventure Dr SE Unit 408 Floor 4 (map)

The catapult was an engineering marvel of its time, particularly during the ancient and medieval periods. Developed primarily for military purposes, catapults were capable of launching projectiles over long distances with considerable force. They played a significant role in siege warfare, allowing armies to hurl stones, arrows, and other projectiles at fortified positions, such as castle walls, in order to breach defenses.

Students will learn design thinking, building, and troubleshooting. Also, gain knowledge about physics topics like force, projectile, and momentum.
