PD Day Camp at Calgary Humane Society
Activities are age and developmentally appropriate. For those campers wishing to attend multiple days of camp, we have a different theme each day, ensuring diverse experiences. Campers will learn about animal characteristics, behavior and proper pet care as well as meet and pet bunnies, cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and more!
Kickoff: Festival of Animated Objects
Festival of Animated Objects is an incubator and producer of mask, puppetry, and animated objects we are the primary curator and presenter of local, national and international puppetry. It’s kicking off this weekend and you’re not going to want t miss the performances! View the full schedule, here.
PLAY At Deerfoot City
The play area is back open at Destination Deerfoot and it’s a great time to run off some of that winter energy, indoors.

Family Fun at the FREE Winter Carnival
The event will include an outdoor scavenger hunt, food trucks, art activities, entertainment, special performances, and live music. As part of the event, participants will be encouraged to contribute to a permanent musical fence installation. Activities will be hosted outdoors on the Alexandra Centre premise (922 9 Avenue SE), Jack Long Park, Calgary Read’s Little Red Reading House, and on the east lawn at Fort Calgary.
Mobile Adventure Playground at George Moss Park
Drop in for a self-directed, drop-in program that use loose parts and natural materials to inspire active and creative outdoor play, and connect people, young and old, to nature. Nature play spaces have been chosen to meet the needs of creative, imaginative, nature-based and self-directed play that are vital to children's cognitive, emotional and social development. Onsite play ambassadors will be on site to inspire play. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch their children's imaginations soar in this new adventure space
